Italian and English, multilingual, Chiara Corazza has forged economic and social ties in more than 100 countries.

After 110 summa cum laude diploma in Political Science and a promising career as journalist at Il Globo in Rome, she arrived 40 years ago in Paris.

The great causes for the general interest, gender equality and sustainability have always motivated her career choices.

First from 1985 to 1999 as Director of International Affairs of the Greater Paris Region where she created Metropolis, the world’s leading association of major metropolises and negotiated and implemented more than twenty economic cooperation agreements with the world’s main capital regions (Beijing, Cairo, Tokyo, Moscow, Warsaw, Hanoi, Madrid, Beirut, Mexico Santiago de Chile, Manila, Johannesburg, Delhi, Dakar, Berlin…)

She then promoted Paris’s bid for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Convinced of the need to raise Paris to the highest rank of the most attractive metropolises in the world, Chiara Corazza in 2002 took the lead of the Greater Paris Investment Agency, where she attracted investments, talents and capitals from all around the world. The Grand Paris Project is at the centre of her works.

In 2017, she became CEO of the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society, that she transformed in an international platform for influence, action and impact, bringing the voice, the vision and the contribution of women in all sectors and levels, including at international summits such as G7 and G20.

She has been an independent Board member of RATP and April for two terms until 2019 and is Vice President of the Arab International Women’s Forum (AIWF) since 2009.

She was appointed by President Emmanuel Macron, France’s representative for the private sector at the G20 EMPOWER and is a member of the G7 GEAC (Gender Equality Advisory Council).

Since many years, Chiara Corazza has successfully made recommendations to Heads of State and Government, as well as to global CEOs and public and private decision makers.

The French government also entrusted her with the mission to propose a national plan to attract more women into the professions of the future. Her report “Women at the heart of the economy» has inspired several measures in France and abroad.

She is an Affiliate Professor at ESCP Business School and a member of the international Advisory Board of ESCP Business School.

She is a member for France of the EESC (European Economic and Social Committee)

Chiara Corazza was named one of the "100 Women who Change the World" by La Repubblica and honoured in 2023 as “Legendary Woman of the Decade” by the Women Economic Forum (WEF).

She was decorated Knight of the Legion of Honor by Minister Christine Lagarde in 2009 and promoted Ufficiale dell'Ordine della Stella d'Italia by President Sergio Mattarella in 2015.
