My Approach

« My DNA and posture are those of a facilitator coach who communicates the energy that will help individuals and teams overcome the barriers that are obstacles to their success. As a trained coach and experienced entrepreneur & manager, I coach and train managers in global companies set their teams in motion and overcome their transformation and evolution challenges.

I’ve built my coaching expertise on 3 complementary pillars:

• - Experience: a10-year entrepreneurial and managerial experience forged my deep understanding of individual and corporate challenges.
• - Expertise: an 13-year practice and on-going training as a certified coach, I offer individual coachings to boost managers’ evolutions as well as innovative team workshops mixing creative thinking

and original role-playing situations that set teams in action.

Passion: a 15-year passion for distance running that has given me a taste for long-term vision & tenacity and has led me to create Coach&Run, where I am the manager’s sparring runner for 40’ back-stepping sessions. »

Coaching, Leadership Development,& Consulting Experience

Passionate about accompanying men and women in their professional roles, Laurent has been coaching since 2009. In 2012 he created Step Ahead Consulting his own company and specializes in executive and team coaching. He focuses on areas such as communication, leadership, performance and transformation (digital/hybrid environments post Covid). In fact he coaches and facilitates in many different sectors ranging from tech and media where he was a manager to finance, banking, luxury, automotive, personal services, mass retail, etc.).

Laurent loves to be confronted with the variety of the many cultures and frames of reference of organizations. He coaches in French, English and Spanish and was associated to projects based on collective intelligence where facilitation addressed up to 180 people.

Other Relevant Experiences

In his former professional life Laurent was an entrepreneur and a manager. After a few years in the internet business, he co-founded and worked as the VP of Sales of NPTV (1998-2007: interactive services for Digital TV) with clients such as Vivendi Universal/Canal+, Orange, Disney, et Eurosport/  Discovery, Sogecable (Spain), Telenor (Scandinavia), Astro Measat (Malaysia). In 2009, he set up the Human Inside project, an innovative start-up offering online speed coaching services to middle and operational managers. In 2012 he gave birth to his current practice, Step Ahead Consulting and has worked with different partners. amongst which TPC Leadership where he has been an Associate since 2020 and ESCP Europe where he was appointed Scientific Director of several Leadership programs and gras awarded the title of Affiliate Professor.
