Almudena CAÑIBANO is an Associate Professor in Human Resource Management at the ESCP Business School Madrid Campus. She holds a PhD in Employment Relations and Organizational Behaviour from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also holds degrees from Complutense University of Madrid, Autonomous University of Madrid and Paris Dauphine University, in Management Research, Management and Human Resource Management respectively. Before joining ESCP Business School, she taught diverse Human Resource Management topics at the London School of Economics (UK), Garrigues Business School (Spain) and The Strategy Academy (India) among other institutions.
Since joining ESCP Business School she has been the Academic Director of the MSc in International Strategy and Consulting (2013-2016) and the MSc in Digital Project Management and Consulting (2017-2020).
Her research focuses on the changing nature of work and its connection to employee experiences. She has studied innovative work organization systems, flexible working, human resource management and their effect on occupational health, employee wellbeing and organizational performance.
