Jean-Philippe Bouilloud is a professor in the Strategy, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources department at the ESCP Business School Paris campus. He teaches the following subjects: sociology of organization, management, corporate strategy, sociology of social sciences. Professor Bouilloud was in charge of the Specialist Master of Strategy and Management of Information Systems.
Professor Bouilloud is a graduate of HEC and holds a Doctorate in sociology. He also has a post-doctoral habilitation to supervise research (HDR). He joined ESCP Business School in 1992 after several years in the banking and consulting industries. His domains of expertise and main publications are in the field of sociology of scientific knowledge and sociology of money. His current research, and next publication, examines the practices of the sociologist. It takes a close look at the ties between the personal life and intellectual production of social scientists.
For many years Professor Bouilloud has worked as a consultant with leading companies and studied the management of complex organizations. He is member of the Laboratoire de Changement Social (University of Paris VII) and of several editorial committees and scientific associations (SFHSH, AIS, AISLF, CS). He is the co-director of the Centre d’Etudes et de Recherches Sociologiques at ESCP Europe.
