“Going into the MSc in Energy Management I had a clear vision: I knew I wanted to develop the skills that would help me become a strong strategy consultant for the energy industry. During my 18 months at ESCP, I achieved exactly what I set my mind to.
Modules such as Problem Solving & Decision Making and Corporate & Business Strategy provided me with the basic consulting skills, while others such as Energy Policy and Energy Markets & Other Commodities gave me more insights about the key factors that make the energy industry so peculiar and, therefore, fascinating.
As a management consultant at E.ON Inhouse consulting, I apply these skills and learnings on a daily basis.
However, the MSc in Energy Management provided much more than academic and professional development. The diversity of cultural and professional backgrounds within the cohort was exceptional, creating an ideal ground for personal growth and friendship building.
Because of this, the interpersonal experience will remain the highlight of my time spent at ESCP.”

Energy Expert Testimonial
“My interaction with the ESCP community and its Energy Management Centre is always a refreshing engagement. Whilst the formal lectures and subject matter is given sufficient air time and consideration, the real learnings come via the ensuing discussion. As an example, the quality and pace of one debate quickly led from broad topics such as oil price variables, M&A market liquidity and the NOC / IOC dynamic, to local impacts such as environmental governance and industry accountabilities - all in the context of the question ‘can the oil industry coexist with society’s expectations?’ The collective energy, knowledge and participation of the ESCP cohorts is as unique as it is impressive.”
