Mobility support for your Internship

The Erasmus+ scheme enables students to receive financial grant for a self-organized voluntary or mandatory internship/traineeship of 2 to 12 months in European countries (list below)*. The goal is to help students and graduates not only gain work experience in other European countries, but also acquire specialized practical knowledge and expand their linguistic, intercultural and social skills.

General Eligibility Criteria

  • you are a full-time student enrolled at ESCP Berlin (both EU and non-EU-citizens). Traineeships of doctoral students and graduates can also be supported; Please note:
    Students enrolled in a Specialised Master Programme based on Berlin Campus as well as Bachelor in Management students who are currently studying and enrolled at Berlin Campus should direct their applications and questions to Berlin Campus. Master in Management students applications are administered through Paris Campus – for more information please see tab “Paris Campus”.
  • your internship takes place in one of the listed ERASMUS+ Programme countries;
  • you have language proficiency in the planned working language;
  • your internship is full-time (min. 35 hours/week) and it provides you with valuable hands-on job experience and digital skills;
  • your internship must last between min. two and max. twelve months;
  • your internship takes place at an eligible host institution such as public/private, small, medium or large enterprises; public bodies at local, regional or national level; chambers of commerce, craft/professional associations and trade unions; research institutes, foundations; schools/institutes/educational centers or HEIs, non-profit organizations, associations, NGOs; bodies providing career guidance, professional counselling bodies and information services

Not eligible are:

  • internships in Germany or countries of permanent residence (no cross-border mobility character);
  • internships at EU institutions and other EU bodies and institutions that manage EU programs (e. g. national agencies);
  • internships with the duration of less than two months;
  • internships that have already started cannot be funded retrospectively;
  • Erasmus+ funds may support you for 12 month within one study cycle (Bachelor, Master, and PhD). Your internship cannot be funded if the quota of 12 months within the same study cycle has been used up;
  • internships for which you already receive grants or funding through another EU-programs

Terms of Grants Allocation at ESCP

The selection is made centrally by the Erasmus university coordinator. The selection criteria are divided into qualitative and formal criteria. The formal criteria are: completeness of the documents, accuracy of the information, plausibility of the information, compliance with the formal requirements and deadlines or, if applicable, the agreements made. The qualitative criteria are: professional motivation for the internship and the embedding of the internship in the course of the study.

Please note: There is no legal entitlement to provide funding under the Erasmus internship program. The mobility grants are awarded on the basis of the availability of funds.

ESCP has an Erasmus+ budget set annually by the European Commission. Grants are awarded on the basis of the amount available. Mobility grants for internships in Europe are allocated at ESCP for a 3,5 months mobility per person. Longer mobility periods can be taken in consideration. However they depend on the budget availability.

An eligible student must comply with the obligation linked to the Erasmus status.

Students with special needs

Supplementary support is available from the National Agency to assist with additional costs incurred by those with physical, mental or health-related conditions. Your Erasmus+ coordinator will give you advice on the application procedure.

Application Process & Deadlines

Applications for ERASMUS+ mobility funding are accepted on the rolling basis, but should be submitted no later than 6 weeks before the start of your internship. E. g. students of Specialised Master-Programs starting their internship on the 1st of May should apply no later than the 20th of March.

Phase 1: Application

Please apply six weeks before the start of your internship with the following documents (in English or German, to be sent to erasmus.berlin@escpeurope.eu):

  • Application Form
  • CV
  • Motivation letter (1 or 2 DIN A4 pages)
  • Confirmation of internship (contract or E-mail, if available)

APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2020 INTAKE ARE OPEN

Phase 2: Agreements

ERASMUS+ coordinator checks your application and nominates you for ERASMUS+ mobility grant four weeks before the start of your internship. The following steps need to be undertaken to formalize the process before you start your internship:

  • sign the Grant Agreement
  • Sign the Learning Agreement for Traineeship
  • Provide proof of medical, liability and accident insurance
  • Conduct an online language test (working language of your internship)

Phase 3: Before and during the intership

  • Transfer of the 1st mobility grant rate (80%)
  • Submission of the Internship interim report and if applicable request to shorten/extend the duration of internship
  • Submission of the final report (+ online language test) 1 month after the internship ends
  • Transfer of the 2nd scholarship rate (20%)

Déclaration en matière de stratégie Erasmus 2021-2027

ESCP Business School souhaite attirer les meilleurs étudiants internationaux (UE et hors UE) au sein des programmes master et de doctorat, renforcer la mobilité étudiante en Europe et hors Europe et aussi développer les recherches académiques communes.

  1. Pour cela, nous développons des partenariats avec les meilleures institutions académiques. Nous privilégions les partenaires ayant une excellence académique et reconnus à l’international notamment en étant accrédités (AMBA, AACSB, EQUIS).
  2. Nous souhaitons renforcer notre présence en particulier dans les pays d’Europe de l'Est, d’Asie du Sud Est, d’Amérique Latine et d’Afrique.
  3. Il s’agit avant tout d’attirer les meilleurs étudiants internationaux notamment de ces régions et aussi de proposer plus de destinations pour la mobilité - programme d’échange et de double diplômes – de nos étudiants du Master in Management (MiM). La mobilité du personnel en Europe est aussi promue pour favoriser les échanges de bonnes pratiques.

Enfin, nous favorisons les double-diplômes afin que nos étudiants aient une reconnaissance académique dans le pays d’accueil s’ils souhaitent s’y implanter.

ESCP Business School, en tant qu'école de management européenne globale implantée sur 5 campus (Paris, Londres, Berlin, Madrid, Turin), favorise une formation et un enseignement européens.

Elle souhaite :

  1. contribuer au développement de l’excellence académique européenne et promouvoir la diversité européenne à travers le recrutement croissant d'étudiants européens et la mobilité étudiante ;
  2. former nos étudiants à la spécificité et aux valeurs européennes dont les entreprises européennes ont besoin ; nous espérons ainsi contribuer à la formation des citoyens européens que sont et deviendront nos étudiants
  3. développer les coopérations avec les meilleures institutions académiques européennes pour des projets de recherche conjoints, par exemple sur le thème de la régulation financière, l’innovation, ou bien le partenariat public-privé (PPP) en Europe ;
  4. renforcer le financement européen à travers des sources de financement alternatives.

Ainsi, nous comptons mettre en place ces projets avec l’aide des nouveaux programmes Erasmus dits de nouvelle génération. Sans une implication forte dans ces programmes Erasmus avec des partenaires européens proches et sans l’aide financière européenne qui l’accompagne ; ces programmes seraient jugés incomplets.

Une aide financière pour vos séjours

Le dispositif Erasmus+ permet aux étudiants de bénéficier d’une aide financière pour les périodes d’études et/ou de stages, quand ils se déroulent en Europe dans les pays éligibles (liste ci-après).
Vous pouvez bénéficier de cette aide sans condition de revenus pour les mobilités d'études. Voir la rubrique « conditions d'attribution » pour les mobilités de stage. Les bourses sont indexées sur le niveau de vie du pays dans lequel se tient la mobilité.
Notez qu'aucune bourse n'est garantie tant que l'étudiant n'a pas reçu une approbation officielle de l'équipe Erasmus.

Conditions d’éligibilité

Pour bénéficier d'un financement Erasmus, les deux premières conditions à remplir sont les suivantes :

  • Partir à l'étranger (voir le site de la Commission européenne)
    Cela signifie une mobilité vers un autre pays (les échanges académiques ou les stages ne peuvent avoir lieu ni en France, ni dans le pays d'origine de l'étudiant).
  • Être mobile
    Se rendre physiquement dans le pays d'accueil du programme d'échange ou du stage (le distanciel n'est pas accepté).

Veuillez noter :
Seuls les étudiants inscrits en Master in Management ainsi que les étudiants en Bachelor in Management qui étudient actuellement et sont inscrits sur le Campus de Paris sont éligibles. Les étudiants de masters spécialisés ne sont pas éligibles à la bourse.

  • Être étudiant à ESCP - temps plein ou en apprentissage, citoyen européen ou non - partant soit en échange académique dans une université européenne ayant signé une charte Erasmus+ avec notre établissement, soit effectuant un stage dans un pays participant au programme Erasmus+ (pays membres de l’Union européenne + Islande, Liechtenstein, Norvège, Turquie, Macédoine du Nord, Serbie).
  • Sur le cycle master, partir en échange pendant 3 mois minimum ou en stage pendant 2 mois minimum et pour une période maximum de 12 mois de mobilité (études et/ou stage).
  • Sur le cycle bachelor, partir en stage pendant 2 mois minimum et pour une période maximum de 12 mois de mobilité.

Conditions d’attribution

ESCP dispose d'une enveloppe financière Erasmus+ fixée annuellement par la Commission européenne. Les bourses sont attribuées en fonction du montant à disposition. L’établissement peut être amené à proposer un financement partiel des mobilités de ses étudiants.

Concernant la bourse Erasmus+ stage, des conditions restrictives sont appliquées :

  • Les étudiants percevant une indemnité (rémunération, remboursement de frais d'hébergement, de transport, de vie...) égale ou supérieure à 600,60 €/mois (gratification moyenne minimale mensuelle d'un stagiaire en France) durant leur stage ne sont pas éligibles.
  • Les bourses sont allouées sur une période maximum de 6 mois même si la durée du stage est plus longue.

L'étudiant éligible devra s’acquitter des différentes obligations liées au statut Erasmus+

Etudiant en situation de handicap

Si vous êtes étudiant en situation de handicap, vous pouvez bénéficier d’une bourse Erasmus+ spécifique, en complément de votre bourse de mobilité qui prend en charge les frais supplémentaires engendrés par votre séjour en Europe (jusqu’à 100% des frais réels encourus).

ESCP Turin Campus opened the Erasmus+ Call:

8 scholarships, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, to support students who are doing their internship in a European country.
The call is reserved to Bachelor students enrolled in Turin Campus. The internship should last at least two months.

ESCP is a transnational business school with a solid experience in management education. ESCP Torino recognises the value of gathering students with different backgrounds in order to create a lively and fertile learning environment. We aim at attracting excellent international profiles from all over the world and to do so we offer an extended array of opportunities, including the ones offered by Erasmus.

ESCP Torino aims at delivering quality education, which requires to be up to date with the latest developments in the business world. We value hands-on knowledge and experience, this is why we create multiple occasions for our students and staff to relate with different companies and professionals. In order to do so, ESCP fosters a network of partnerships with companies all over the country and beyond. With our participation in the Erasmus programme we aim at improving our international profile and develop partnerships with leading academic and research institutions, as well as companies and industries.

The employability of graduates is one of ESCP Torino main objectives. To increase employability, the school promotes double degree programmes that ensure degree recognition in partner countries and encourages international internships and company placements. This allows students to gather valuable international hands-on experience in their field of study.

ESCP Torino already has an established network beginning from the five European capitals where the other ESCP Campuses are located (Paris, London, Madrid, Berlin and Warsaw) and encourages partnerships and cooperation activities with the geographical focus on Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, North America, South America and Africa. While maintaining its existing geographical priorities, ESCP remains open to new opportunities to collaborate and is actively exploring different areas.

With its participation in the Erasmus programme ESCP Torino aims at increasing international mobilities and extending the range and nature of the opportunities offered to its students enrolled in Bachelor and Master programmes. Erasmus policy statement

As a transnational business school dedicated to European management education for more than 40 years, ESCP Torino seeks to attract outstanding international students (EU and non-EU) for its Bachelor, Master and Executive Programmes, to improve mobility of students, faculty and staff and to establish long-term academic and research cooperation with international partners.

ESCP seeks to constantly increase the number of students enrolled in its graduate programs as well as the number of successful graduates. Participation in activities covered by the ERASMUS+ Programme helps us to offer high-quality degree programs with up-to-date course content matching the current needs and demands of the labour market both in Italy and internationally.

ESCP actively cooperates with a large network of academic and business partners to develop programs and deliver employment-related skills in order to improve the employability of its graduates. ESCP is committed to further developing and diversifying its transnational education across all the offered programs and making use of innovative teaching/learning methods through new information and communications technologies, in order to enrich the learning experience of its students.
