Carolin Waldner is an Assistant Professor of Sustainability Management.
Carolin’s research focuses on social entrepreneurship, particularly questions around organizational tensions, social evaluations (especially reputation), and entrepreneurship for sustainable development in the Global South. Her work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of Management Studies, the Journal of Social Entrepreneurship, and Nonprofit Management & Leadership.
Before joining ESCP, Carolin was a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Sustainability Management at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf. She obtained her doctoral degree from Hamburg University in 2019 and has been a visiting scholar at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), Copenhagen Business School (CBS), and San Francisco State University (SFSU)
