Olivier Wurtz is an Associate Professor of Management at ESCP Business School. 

He teaches courses on management, organisations, leadership, and change.

His research focuses on international management, addressing contemporary challenges faced by global managers, including global work and cross-cultural encounters, well-being and coping, diversity, and the dynamics of creativity.

Professor Wurtz is also an expert in international mobility and expatriation, investigating critical aspects of the expatriation process such as preparation and training, adjustment, family-related challenges, and repatriation. He collaborates with leading French multinational corporations and government organisations to advance knowledge in these areas.

Olivier also serves as an adjunct professor at l’École Polytechnique.

He graduated from ESCP with a Master in Management and holds a PhD from HEC Paris. His professional experience spans several countries, including France, Germany, Finland, Switzerland, and the United States, and he has worked for multinational corporations such as Procter & Gamble, PwC, and L’Oréal. Before joining ESCP, he held academic positions at the University of Vaasa (Finland) and l’École Hôtelière de Lausanne.

He has received awards for his research and teaching.
