Climate change and the increasing demands of a growing population are two of the biggest challenges facing humanity today. Third-generation farmer Mateusz Ciasnocha is CEO of European Carbon Farmers, which promotes carbon farming practices in Poland and developing agricultural carbon payment mechanisms. About our Speaker
Mateusz Ciasnocha leads the operation of a 700ha regenerative agricultural business in northern Poland. He is on a mission to spearhead regenerative agriculture at the scale required to unleash the world’s greatest carbon capture and storage pool: healthy and living agricultural soil.
Mateusz is actively involved in international programmes such as the Economy of Francesco’s, the Agriculture and Justice Village (where he co-facilitates work of the start-up stream focused on developing network of regenerative demo farms), the EIT Food, where he manages a regenerative agriculture programme, and many others.
