Christophe Moussu has been a Professor of Finance at ESCP Business School since 1993. He is interested in corporate finance and corporate governance issues. He is the author of numerous articles published in both French and international journals and has supervised several doctoral and post-doctoral students. He was awarded the prize for the best thesis in finance by the University of Dijon and the SAB prize for sustainable finance. He founded and directed the Finance and Society axis of the ReFi Laboratory of Excellence and acted as academic co-director of ReFi. He has organised several research seminar series (ReFi and Law and Finance) as well as numerous conferences and research and transfer workshops.

He teaches financial theory and corporate finance at the master’s and executive level. He is responsible for the Corporate Finance specialisation and the Advanced Corporate Finance specialisation in partnership with the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. He is also the academic director of the Corporate Finance Certificate. He has been a visiting scholar at the University of Rochester (Simon School of Business Administration) and a visiting professor at the College of Europe (Bruges).

He is currently ESCP Business School's representative to the Sorbonne Alliance and sits on the PACTE Law Evaluation Committee (France-Stratégie) as an academic expert. Before joining ESCP Business School, he worked in venture capital and financial engineering at Crédit Agricole Investment Bank. He occasionally advises companies on financial, organisational architecture, and incentive issues.

Christophe Moussu is a graduate of ESCP Business School (Class of 88), the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (DEA Monnaie-Banque-Finance), the University of Dijon (Doctorat de Sciences de Gestion), and the University of Lille (Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches en Sciences de Gestion).
