Fabienne Fel is an Associate Professor in the Information and Operations Management Department at ESCP Business School (Paris campus).

She began her professional career with a French automotive manufacturer, where she served as Logistics and Planning Manager for five years. She has been a member of the ESCP Business School faculty since 1992. Her teaching focuses on Operations Management and Supply Chain Management, and she is also deeply involved in the facilitation of business simulations.

In 2000, she launched the Specialized Master’s Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and served as its Academic Director from 2000 to 2017. In 2017, she created and led the Factory of the Future Chair, sponsored by the Michelin Corporate Foundation and Safran.

Professor Fel’s current research focuses on the reshoring of industrial activities to France. She has published extensively and presented her work at numerous international conferences, including the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA), ATLAS/AFMI, and IPSERA. Her research also explores the enabling conditions for the successful implementation of Industry 4.0 initiatives.

She is a graduate of HEC Paris and holds a PhD from Université Paris X.
