ESCP Business School is proud to announce the launch of its new Operations Manager (Level 5) Apprenticeship Programme.

Delivered by ESCP London Campus, this innovative programme is designed to equip current and aspiring operations managers with the strategic mindset, leadership skills, and practical knowledge necessary to drive efficiency and transformational change within their organisations.

The ESCP apprenticeship goes beyond standard operations training by also focusing on building transformative leadership skills and innovative problem-solving capabilities. Participants will gain hands-on experience, addressing real-world operational challenges while benefiting from ESCP’s globally recognised expertise.

Programme Structure and Format

The ESCP apprenticeship is delivered through a blended learning format combining synchronous and asynchronous learning, face-to-face workshops, and work-based projects. Over 18 months, apprentices will complete core modules in key areas before compelling their End Point Assessment (EPA). Some core modules include:

  • Personal Leadership
  • Team Effectiveness
  • Operational Management
  • Finance and Decision Making
  • Action Projects

The next intake of apprenticeships starts in May 2025.


Eligibility and Funding

The ESCP Level 5 Operations Manager Apprenticeship is open to individuals in or aspiring to operational or managerial roles. Applicants must have the right to work in England, have been a resident for at least three years, and be employed in a full-time or part-time role suitable for an apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship is fully funded through the UK Apprenticeship Levy scheme, with a funding band of £9,000 per apprentice. The Levy-paying organisations (those with an annual pay bill of £3 million or more) can benefit from the full funding amount, while non-levy-paying employers can access up to 95% funding to upskill their employees.
