Found in every building, the switchboard is traditionally based on 50-year-old mechanical technology. But OGHJI is flipping the switch on convention with a digitally native, connected system that enables:
- Real-time energy monitoring at the circuit level
- Alerts for unusual consumption or incidents
- Usage-based programming (by time, occupancy, or tariff rates)
- Remote control via app or in-home touchscreen
- Automated load-shedding to avoid exceeding power subscriptions
Simply monitoring energy use can drive up to 15% savings, OGHJI aims to go further by embedding automation directly into the building’s energy core.
A first batch of these next-gen boards will roll out by the end of 2024, with plans to pilot the solution in a Monaco eco-district in collaboration with SMEG and the Mission for Energy Transition.
