Jérôme Henry is Affiliate Professor of Marketing at ESCP Business School in Paris, where he teaches and develops programmes on sustainable marketing. His work bridges academic perspectives with managerial practice, focusing on how companies can transform traditional marketing approaches towards more responsible and sustainable models.
He has built a long-standing career in industry, particularly in the construction materials sector, holding senior marketing roles in both multinational corporations and more locally rooted companies. He has served as Marketing Manager for several organisations, where he led product strategies, innovation initiatives, and market development for building and insulation solutions. Through this experience in the construction materials industry, he has developed strong expertise in sustainable marketing and its practical application within organisations, particularly in relation to the circular economy and business model innovation.
Jérôme holds a Master of Science in Marketing and Innovation from EM Lyon Business School, obtained between 1998 and 1999, with a focus on innovation strategies, marketing, finance, and project management. He also earned a Master of Engineering with a major in material science from Polytech Grenoble between 1996 and 1998, specialising in project management as well as the chemistry and physics of materials. He previously completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the Université de Toulon et du Var between 1992 and 1996, covering general physics and chemistry, superconductors, and organic chemistry. In addition, he has completed several online certifications, including courses on sustainable approaches to building at Delft University (2017), marketing analytics at Berkeley (2016), and the circular economy at Delft University (2016).
