ESCP London introduces the School of Technology for management in a technology-driven world
The new School expands ESCP’s management education portfolio with programmes combining management, science and technology.
On 15 September, ESCP officially introduced its new School of Technology in the UK, expanding its management education portfolio to address the growing relationship between business, science and technology. The launch marks a significant milestone in ESCP’s evolution towards becoming the first European University of Management.
Founded in 1819 as the world's first business school, this expansion is a historic moment for ESCP, as the School responds to the broader future of work trend in which leadership increasingly requires an understanding of science and technology alongside traditional business and management skills.
Why has ESCP launched a School of Technology?
The School of Technology is the first of two new schools to be launched under ESCP's Bold & United strategy. It will be followed by the School of Governance in 2029, as ESCP evolves towards becoming the first European University of Management.
Unlike traditional technology programmes, the School places equal emphasis on scientific thinking, technological capability and management. By combining these disciplines, the School will equip current and future decision-makers with the knowledge and skills required to contribute to responsible innovation and meet the needs of companies facing rapid and far-reaching technological change.
As ESCP prepares students for these challenges and opportunities ahead, it recognises that while technologies evolve rapidly, the underlying scientific principles behind them remain constant. The principles of physics, chemistry, and biology remain the enduring foundations on which innovation is built.
By bringing together management, science and technology, ESCP School of Technology reflects a simple conviction: tomorrow's leaders will need hybrid capabilities, combining the strategic and human depth of management excellence with the scientific literacy and technological fluency needed to understand the forces reshaping our world.

What does the new school mean for ESCP in London?
As one of Europe’s leading technology ecosystems, London plays an important role in helping the School of Technology grow across ESCP’s European campuses. The digital and technology sector already accounts for around 6% of UK economic output, while the UK Government has identified fields such as artificial intelligence, engineering biology and quantum technologies as areas with significant potential for future growth.
Earlier in the year, ESCP successfully introduced the BSc in Management, Science and Technology, which will run between ESCP's Paris, Turin and London campuses. Now, ESCP London will launch the MSc in Product Management for Technology, contributing to the development of the School of Technology’s programme portfolio. The programme will address an area where UK postgraduate provision has traditionally focused on product design, product development, short courses and professional qualifications, rather than dedicated degrees focused on product management.
Building on ESCP's long-standing commitment to experiential learning, the new programme will combine academic teaching with consultancy projects, internships, industry collaboration and applied practical sprints throughout the studies, providing students with ample opportunities to apply what they learn straight away.

About the MSc in Product Management for Technology
The MSc in Product Management for Technology is due to launch in London in September 2027.
The programme is built on three core pillars: management, technology and digital product practice. Students will explore topics including business strategy in the AI era, digital product marketing, business transformation, finance, product management, agile delivery, design and UX, product analytics, software architecture, robotics, generative AI, machine learning and responsible AI.
During their degree, students will also complete a 12-week Company Consultancy Project for a real client, an internship of at least four months and a year-long experiential module. This includes a series of one-week sprints with London-based partners across sectors such as fintech, AI, the public sector, B2B SaaS and climate technology.
Students will spend six months in London, followed by three months in Paris, with a further nine months to complete their internship and Master’s thesis. Graduates will receive both UK and French degree diplomas, supporting their international career prospects.
AI is changing how quickly and cheaply companies can develop technology, but it does not decide what should be built or where value will be created. That remains a human and business challenge. Product managers need to understand technology while also questioning assumptions, understanding customers and making sound strategic decisions.
