Since 2017, Jean-Louis Paré has been a professor at ESCP Business School.
After having been the financial director of a start-up, Jean-Louis Paré contributed his skills in financial analysis, company valuation, investment consulting, and mutual fund management to various brokers and management companies: BNP Equities, Ecofi Gestion, Equigest, and Enskilda Securities.), and financial flexibility. He has published several articles in ranked academic journals.

From 2005 to 2022, he established and served as the Scientific Director of the MS in Entrepreneurial Finance at Novancia Business School, where he taught finance to entrepreneurs. Between 2012 and 2021, Jean-Louis Paré was the General Director of CFVG (Centre Franco-Vietnamien de Formation à la Gestion) in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Under his leadership, CFVG became a member of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles, and two master’s programmes obtained and renewed their EFMD Accredited status for five years.

Jean-Louis Paré’s teaching and research focus on entrepreneurial finance, SME valuation, and financing strategies for high-growth companies (business angels and venture capital). He has published several articles in ranked academic journals.

He holds a PhD in Management and is a graduate actuary of the IAF. He is also a graduate of the IEP de Paris, the Institut de Droit des Affaires, and holds degrees in Economics and Management. Additionally, he is a CFA® charterholder.
