Deepak is a highly regarded C-suite executive with 33 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and animal health sectors, spanning strategic, governance, and operational leadership. He served on Merck’s Executive Committee as the Interim Leader for Human Health International, overseeing operations across 100+ global markets, and previously led as President of Europe, MEA, and Canada.
Globally recognized for exceptional business acumen and transformative leadership, Deepak has a proven track record in driving organizational growth and change. His expertise spans product development, regulatory and clinical strategy, commercial strategy, business development, partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Currently, Deepak is an Affiliate Professor at ESCP’s London Campus, where he designs and delivers customized executive education programs for pharmaceutical companies. He is also pursuing a PhD at ESCP, focusing on generational differences in work values and inclusion.
