Xavier Sobrepere is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at ESCP Business School, Madrid Campus. His research takes a behaviorally realistic approach to organizations and lies at the intersection of strategic management and organization theory, with a particular focus on the antecedents and consequences of decision making.

His work has been published in leading journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly and the Journal of Management Studies. Xavier is an active member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society, regularly participating in their annual conferences. He also contributes to the academic community as an ad-hoc reviewer for journals including Organization Science, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, and Long Range Planning.

Xavier holds a PhD in Management (cum laude) from IESE Business School, Barcelona. He continued his academic career as an Oberassistent at the University of Zurich and, prior to joining ESCP, was a tenured faculty member at Tilburg University.
