Sandria Rüßmann is a Lecturer in Information and Operations Management at ESCP Business School, Berlin Campus. She teaches at the intersection of operations and technology at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, in courses such as Operations Management, Enterprise Systems Improvement, and Supply Chain Management and Industry 4.0. Her teaching draws on expertise in decision-support systems, the Internet of Things, and advanced analytics, among others.

Her research interests include vendor-managed inventory, the forecasting–inventory control interface, inventory record inaccuracy, and joint replenishment, always with a focus on how emerging technologies and advanced analytics can improve, automate, and redesign supply chain processes. She enjoys both theoretical and data-driven research. Her work has been published in the European Journal of Operational Research.

Prior to joining ESCP, she was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Luxembourg Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She holds a PhD in Operations and Technology from Kühne Logistics University in Hamburg. In the past, she has been a visiting researcher at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and the MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has collaborated on research projects with industry leaders in consumer goods and air cargo.
