About the event
While the first two decades of this century has seen a large win of important rights for the LGBTIQ+ community - equal treatment at work, legal marriage, freedom to raise children - progress has now seemingly stalled. Indeed, a perceived societal and political backlash on those rights across the US and Europe has put many of these achievements at risk. In the past, corporate leaders have used their voices to support many of what are essentially "social issues". The big question today, as a recent article in the Harvard Business Review put it, is "whether corporate efforts on behalf of LGBTIQ+ employees will meet the moment of falter".
