For ten years, ESCP’s Bachelor in Management (BSc) programme has prepared internationally minded students to launch careers in business through its distinctive multi-campus experience and hands-on approach to management education.
From 2027, the undergraduate portfolio will expand with the arrival of the new Bachelor in Management, Science & Technology (BSc), creating two complementary pathways for students with different aspirations whilst reinforcing ESCP’s commitment to educating the next generation of European leaders.
The new programme forms part of the launch of ESCP School of Technology, a key milestone in ESCP’s Bold & United strategy, which charts the School’s path towards becoming the first European University of Management by 2030. The first cohort will begin in September 2027, marking the next step in the evolution of ESCP’s undergraduate education.
A new School built around tomorrow’s challenges
The School of Technology was created in response to the fact that technology now impacts every sector, not just laboratories or engineering departments. Advances in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, climate technologies, robotics, and data defence are driving demand for leaders who understand scientific innovation and can make strategic business decisions.
Of course, ESCP is not becoming an engineering school. Instead, it is building on its management expertise to create an academic environment where management, science, and technology work together.
As Professor Cédric Denis-Rémis, Dean of the ESCP School of Technology, explains, “While technologies progress at extraordinary speed, the core laws that govern our world remain the same. The principles of physics, chemistry and biology remain the permanent foundations on which innovation is built.”
Bringing these disciplines together with management, he argues, will equip future leaders with the hybrid capabilities needed not only to understand the transformations ahead, but also to help shape them.
Management at its core, science at its foundation
Despite its strong scientific component, the new Bachelor programme remains firmly rooted in management education.
Students will study management, economics, entrepreneurship, humanities and design alongside mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and life sciences. The curriculum includes more than 280 hours of science and technology each year, complemented by laboratory activities, scientific immersions, hackathons, internships and collaborations with industry.
The goal is not to train engineers, but to educate graduates who can confidently navigate conversations with scientists, researchers, and technical experts while making informed strategic decisions. As Professor Denis-Rémis puts it, tomorrow’s leaders will need to combine “the strategic and human depth of management excellence with the scientific literacy and technological fluency needed to understand the forces remaking our world.”
A European journey across three campuses
Like the Bachelor in Management, the new programme embraces ESCP’s defining multi-campus model.
Students will spend their first year in Paris, continue in Turin, and complete their studies in London, following an English-taught curriculum while experiencing three different European innovation ecosystems.
Alongside the core curriculum, students will have the opportunity to explore strategic fields, including AI and deep tech, energy and climate technologies, biotechnology, and cybersecurity, all while developing the international outlook and intercultural awareness that have grown to be hallmarks of an ESCP education.
