On February 24th, Ukraine was invaded and attacked by Russian armed forces. The invasion of the sovereign nation violated numerous international norms, but what is most horrendous is the violation of cease-fires and targeting civilians - including those seeking shelter in hospitals, schools, and residential areas.

Lighthouse stands for Ukraine and wants to do everything possible to raise awareness of the atrocities committed by Putin. And so do many other ESCP societies, who will support us in the event. So join us on March 29th at 7pm (BST) to discuss seeking justice for Ukraine.

First, Georgiy Khokholyev, a young Ukrainian working in Berlin, will share his personal experience:

  • Going to the border
  • Having family members in the invaded country
  • Doing his best to help people out.

Then, the Save Ukraine Student Movement will propose ways students can get involved to make a change.
