The GMP is a standalone programme but also forms an integral part of the ESCP Executive MBA: the 9 core courses are common to both programmes.
The GMP is a highly customisable part-time programme, designed to help you to balance your studies with your work and your personal life.
You choose the location: attend classes on campuses across Europe and the Middle East, you can also choose to take the majority of courses online or mix online courses and in-class with our blended format.

Your first step to
the Executive MBA
You have the option to transition seamlessly from the GMP to the Executive MBA programme, which is ranked #3 worldwide by the Financial Times (2023). Once accepted into the EMBA, you will only pay the balance of tuition fees due (see Fees & Financing).
You will be able to carry over the credits you earned in the GMP. Then you are on track to complete the 10 electives, 5 international seminars and International Consulting Project. If you follow this route you can expect to finish your EMBA within 30 months.

Programme Structure
The ESCP General Management programme has a total of 180 contact hours. Depending on the study track you choose, you will attend classes on weekdays or in weekend sessions, all year round.
The GMP is part-time and fully compatible with an executive schedule, requiring a reasonable number of days away from the office, over 12 months.

As a highly flexible and international programme designed to adapt to your life, you get to choose where you take your core courses. For each course, you have the choice between three of our European campuses. You also have the option of taking one or all of the core courses online. No matter where you study, you receive the same high-quality ESCP curriculum.

Pedagogy

Admission
Admission Requirements
- A previous university degree: Bachelor, Master’s degree or equivalent in any discipline
- A minimum of five years’ managerial experience , based on demonstration of managerial skills and potential for success within your company (recommendation letters)
- Fluency in English: courses are taught in English and all coursework must be submitted in English.
- For non-native English speakers, we may require the following minimum scores on the tests (TOEFL 100 / IELTS Band 7 / In-house English Test (free) provided by British Council: CEFR c1*)
*CEFR stands for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Tuition Fees
The ESCP GMP tuition fees are €33,000* (September 2024 and January 2025)
If you later decide to join the Executive MBA programme, the balance due will be €50,000.
