Turin is ready for a big celebration for the arrival of the Winter Universiade flag. The FISU (Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire) World University Games are the most significant global sports event for student-athletes.

The next edition of the World University Winter Games will be held from 13 to 23 January 2025 in Piedmont: in Turin, Pragelato, Bardonecchia, Pinerolo and Torre Pellice.

The 2023 World University Winter Games Closing Ceremony was held on Sunday, 22 January. The Mayor of Lake Placid passed the FISU flag to Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of Turin.

On Saturday, 28 January, the World Winter Universiade flag will arrive in Turin. From 9.00 p.m., at the Pala Alpitour, there will be the Flag Presentation Ceremony and the launch of the membership campaign for the volunteers, who will become the backbone of the world's largest university sports event.

During the flag's arrival party, you can enjoy a DJ set from 9 pm till late and a show with the artistic production of Masters of Magic between 10 and 11 pm.
