Alberto Martínez is a Professor at ESCP Business School. He is the current Academic Director of the Madrid Campus and Director of Studies of the  Master in Management for the Madrid Campus.

He graduated from the University of Madrid, Instituto de Empresa (Executive MBA) in 2003, then he graduated in 2007 from the University of Carlos III, Madrid (Master in Business Administration and Quantitative Methods). 

Holds a PhD (2018) in Industrial Organization from Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.

In the course of his career, from 2003 to 2020, he has been Professor in Operations Management, Computer Skills, Company Consultancy Projects and Management Information Systems, at ESCP.

He also worked, from July 2002 to October 2003, as an Independent Consultant on training projects, process consultant and document management projects. From July 2000 to July 2002, he worked for MUNDIVIA S.A., providing services in the areas of Technical and Strategic Consultancy within the New Technologies Industry. From August 1989 to July 2000, he worked at TECNATOM S.A., in the areas of Operations Support Engineer and Project Manager, in Training Tools Division Engineer and Project Manager and in Operating Experience Engineer, leading Cooperation Projects for the IAEA and for the European Union (TACIS and PHARE frameworks) in the area of Education.

His areas of research are Innovation, Organizational Models, Collaborative Economy, Open Innovation.
