In June 2023, ESCP Business School’s London Campus organised its 7th annual Alumni & Friends Summer Soirée in collaboration with the ESCP Alumni Association and ESCP Foundation.
The event took place in the heart of Westminster and gathered 162 guests, including senior Alumni who graduated 40 years previously. The ESCP leadership team present on the night included Lord David Gold, Chairman of the Board of ESCP London Campus; Prof. Kamran Razmdoost, Dean of ESCP London Campus; Florence Dupuy-Pardo (ESCP 92), International Development Director at the ESCP Foundation; and Eva Rogow (EMBA 18), General Secretary of ESCP's Alumni Association.
This year, ESCP celebrates 50 years of the School’s European model, its European excellence, and also its presence in the UK. Today, with campuses in Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris, Turin and Warsaw, ESCP is the only business school offering students from across the world a unique and comprehensive vision of Europe. The strength of this model was recognised in the latest Financial Times European Business Schools ranking, which placed ESCP 3rd among the top 95 business schools in Europe, reaffirming its position.
The London Alumni event coincided with the latest release of the 2023 Financial Times Master in Finance ranking, where ESCP’s Advanced Master in Finance was ranked 1st worldwide. The programme's Academic Director, Prof. Philippe Thomas, said: "We are incredibly proud to be ranked first worldwide by the FT. It shows that our innovative teaching methods, delivered by outstanding faculty with both published research and hands-on industry experience, have succeeded in shaping the world's top financial industry leaders."
ESCP Business School was founded in 1819. ESCP opened its first UK campus in Oxford in 1974, marking a pioneering step towards creating a truly ‘transnational’ business school. The Campus moved to its current home to West Hampstead in 2004, with its building officially inaugurated on 30th November by Jean-Pierre Raffarin, a former ESCP alumnus and French Prime Minister at that time. Each year, ESCP welcomes 9,000+ students and 5,000 managers from 130 different nationalities to its multi-campus business training programmes: Bachelor in Management (BSc), Master in Management and Specialised Masters, MBA, Executive MBA, PhD and Executive Education.
