Frank Figge is Professor of Sustainability on ESCP’s Paris campus. He holds a PhD from the University of Basle (Switzerland). Before coming to France he was a full Professor at Queen’s University Belfast (Northern Ireland) and the University of St Andrews (Scotland) and a Reader at the University of Leeds (England). Frank is also the Per and Eivor Wikström Guest Professor at Umeå University (Sweden) and Visiting Professor at Macquarie University (Sydney/Australia).

His current main research interests focus on Circular Economy, Paradox Management and Sustainability Assessments and Evaluation. His research has been published among others in Academy of Management Review, Organization Studies, Ecological Economics, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Industrial Ecology. In his spare time, he helps to take care of street dogs that have been saved by a dog shelter, which he considers to be a brilliant laboratory of the art of management at the same time.
