Markus Bick is professor of Business Information Systems at ESCP Europe Berlin campus. He earned a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Duisburg-Essen and a Diploma (M.Sc. equivalent) in business information systems from the University of Essen.
Professor Bick teaches business and management information systems in the Master, Ph.D., and MBA programs of the school. He also teaches knowledge management and simulation in the Master program (M.Sc.) Virtual Education in Business Information Systems (VAWi) at the Universities of Bamberg and Duisburg-Essen.
His main research interests and activities are related to knowledge management, e-learning, convergent systems, ambient intelligence, and simulation.
