This episode is a peek into the mind of one of the top healthcare leaders in New England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We all have a personal story that drives us<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From a young freshman wanting nothing to do with medicine to developing a passion for cardiology and becoming the founder of the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation programme and creator of the first and only mobile ECMO program in Connecticut, bringing life-saving technology to patients in need throughout New England. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Life has no definite path, and Dr. Gluck is the proof. Trading firefighting trucks for helicopters; instead of light and siren, you get helicopter blades\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The power is in the word YES<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s your personal leadership philosophy?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Gluck saved lives every single day through the mobile Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation programme he created, a heart, lung machine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He built the most competitive network without competition in the toughest moments of uncertainties, amidst the pandemic and shortage of life support machines! Because \u201c<em>sometimes you just have to change the game<\/em>\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Gluck led this change with his strong passion, creativity and courage, but more importantly, thanks to his teams, who are continuously \u201c<em>re-writing what they know<\/em>\u201d and reshaping what once was the best of care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Courage takes creativity and creativity takes courage!
