He also points out that some of the world\u2019s greatest innovations, like the Post-it note, were born from mistakes. \u201c3M wasn\u2019t trying to make a reusable adhesive; it was an accidental discovery,\u201d he explains. These \u2018lucky accidents\u2019 only become successful innovations when companies are open to learning from unexpected outcomes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drawing from his expertise in scaling businesses, Sola identifies three major strategic mistakes that companies frequently make:<\/p>\n\n\n\n When asked for advice, Sola encourages leaders and entrepreneurs to embrace both the highs and lows of the process. \u201cMistakes will come, and some will be avoidable, some won\u2019t. But the key is to think ahead,\u201d he says. Sola emphasises the importance of foresight and flexibility in navigating complex strategic decisions.
