Industry is better prepared for the post-crisis era

Over and above switching factories to mask production, the industrial sector has shown a remarkable ability to adapt, even if it has been affected in an unprecedented way by the Covid-19 crisis. It may even be better equipped than some other sectors to pull out of the crisis because it is already familiar with crises and digital transformation processes, and above all, because it has already adopted a largely human-centric approach in its thinking about production systems, explains professor Géraldine Galindo.
