Currently, students can take part in football, basketball, volleyball, and running, with teams representing ESCP in external leagues and competitions throughout the academic year. These sports attract a mix of experienced players and newcomers, creating an environment that is both competitive and supportive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individual Sports & Fitness<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Alongside team sports, a range of individual and student-led activities allow students to stay active<\/a> in ways that suit their schedules and interests. These include chess, dance, tennis, boxing, and table tennis, all organised by students and open to varying levels of experience<\/a>. This flexible approach encourages participation and makes it easy for students to explore new activities or continue existing passions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special Events & Competitions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the highlights of the ESCP sports calendar is the Intercampus Games, which bring together students from across ESCP\u2019s European campuses. In 2026, the Games will be hosted in Madrid<\/a>, where 58 students from the London Campus will travel to compete against their peers in sports such as padel, basketball, football, volleyball, and pickleball. These events not only promote healthy competition but also strengthen the sense of belonging within ESCP\u2019s international community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peter Sogbodjor<\/a>, Sports Coordinator at ESCP London Campus, highlights the importance of sport <\/a>within the student experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSport is an important part of student life at the London Campus. It creates opportunities for students to meet new people, develop skills, and compete across a wide range of activities. We look forward to welcoming new students in 2026 and giving them the chance to join a team, attend training sessions, and become part of our growing sports community.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year has seen several standout achievements across the sports programme. Both the football and basketball teams have made significant progress, qualifying for their respective Cup quarter-finals to be played in January. The Run Club<\/a> has also had an impressive year, with students competing in half marathons while raising thousands of pounds for charity. In addition, students took part in an outstanding Intercampus Games in Paris, an experience that many cite as a defining moment of their ESCP journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sport at ESCP is not about performance alone, but about creating space for students to connect, reset, and grow alongside their academic journey. Whether through regular training sessions, student-led initiatives, or large-scale inter-campus events, sport plays a meaningful role in shaping life at the London Campus.
