The past months have by far been the most amazing months in my academic and personal life. When considering Grad School, I understood cognitively that I was facing a crossroads in my evolution as a man now and for my future, and that this came with exceptionally difficult choices. I chose ESCP Business School<\/a> in September 2024. And I have not regretted that choice one day. Now I have faced such a decision again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In general, the primary mandate I have for myself in making decisions are based on the potential for my growth as a human \u00e2\u20ac\u201d as that has always steered me in the right direction.
But I am also at a point in my life where it is of equal importance to find an opportunity that encourages my evolution as a prospect on the job market: by moving to a new continent and community \u00e2\u20ac\u201d one that offers the greatest potential for contribution and continued growth<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this in mind, I have decided that I am going to join the Master of International Business at the University of South Carolina<\/a> via the Double Degree Program of ESCP Business School<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m from Berlin, Germany originally, but Paris <\/a>has truly raised me. It taught me so much about family as well as what it means to be an independent man. There are no words to express what the ESCP organization and the community mean to me, and what they will represent in my life and in my heart forever. The memories and friendships are something that go far beyond the classroom. Those invaluable relationships are what made this deliberation so challenging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am very happy to have heard unequivocally positive feedback when I shared the decision with the ones closest to me. I am doing what I feel is the right thing at this point in my life \u00e2\u20ac\u201d for my academic positioning and career prospects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will miss Paris, and the role I have had in participating at ESCP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will forever cherish the relationships within the organization \u00e2\u20ac\u201d the friends that I went to study with in the library for ten months, and all the people of the community. They have always had my back unconditionally, and I cannot be more grateful for what they have meant to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Merci pour tout \u00e2\u20ac\u201d les matins brumeux,
les rues pav\u00e9es pleines de secrets,
les terrasses pleines de regards,
les mots murmur\u00e9s entre deux gorg\u00e9es de caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je reviendrai, c’est certain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais avant cela, un r\u00e0\u00aave m’attend,
loin d’ici, de l’autre c\u00e0\u00b4t\u00e9 de l’oc\u00e9an.

Et pourtant, Paris\u2026
aucune autre ville n’a su \u00e9veiller en moi
cette \u00e9motion fragile,
