The ESCP Master in Management<\/a> – Impact Entrepreneurship Option-E specialisation<\/a> offers its students a transformative learning experience, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship. As part of their academic journey, students embarked on a stimulating field trip to Catania, Sicily’s economic hub. The students had the privilege of immersing themselves in Catania’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Isola Catania<\/a>, a thriving innovation hub, served as their base for exploration and discovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catania is a contradictory city with a strong identity but also fragility, which offers clues and opportunities to imagine new actions and generative projects for the territory. It is a place where history meets entrepreneurship and where entrepreneurs are deeply embedded in the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We chose to be here in Catania to explore the entrepreneurial ecosystem, because we want to understand how it is possible to create this very active and fertile environment to support Innovation and Entrepreneurship<\/em>,” said Alisa Sydow<\/strong>, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at ESCP Business School. \u201cCatania has not only the sea, nature, good food and beauty, but also a complex ecosystem to get to know and study<\/em>,” – continued Alisa Sydow. “This is the challenge for these young students who come from very different backgrounds where there is often a surplus of accelerators, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Here in Catania, many of these things are lacking, so it is even more stimulating to study, deepen and get to know the area to create something that generates impact and opportunities for the local community as well<\/em>“.<\/div>
