Klara Crnogorac<\/strong> is a second-year Bachelor in Management (BSc)<\/a><\/strong> student coming from Zagreb, Croatia<\/strong>. \u201dI am proud to represent my culture here and, at the same time, I always encourage other Croatian students to join our diverse community!\u201d she tells us with cheerful determination at the very start of our interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Klara, in fact, appears to us very charismatic<\/strong>, a feeling immediately confirmed by her words: \u201dMy friends describe me as an energetic person, smiling all the time. I am always ready for action, planning new trips and tracking new restaurants or museums to visit. I am also extremely interested in different cultures and traditions, passionate about travelling and enthusiastic about sports!\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based on her character traits and interests, it is not hard to guess why she thought ESCP Business School<\/strong> could be the perfect fit<\/strong> for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beginning. Choosing the Bachelor in Management (BSc)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The BSc programme allows students to live and study in three different cities<\/strong>, and Klara admits that the idea of exploring a new \u201d\u02dcunknown’ every year was hard to resist. However, before applying, she also wanted to be informed as much as possible about the structure of the courses<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201dWhat intrigued me the most was the combination of hard and soft skills<\/strong> embedded in the curriculum. The offered variety of subjects made me realise that the Bachelor at ESCP was much more than studying economics and finance. The opportunity to dig deeper and understand the business world through psychology<\/em>, law<\/em>, international relations<\/em>, and history<\/em> definitely won me over\u201d she recalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a second aspect that answers to Klara’s needs and desires: \u201dI truly believe in learning<\/strong> not only through theory but by practice<\/strong>. And this programme focuses on getting working experience<\/strong> and exploring the real corporate world<\/strong> during your studies. This is what I truly value\u201d she points out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we think about knowledge, we often think about reading books, mastering theories, or learning by heart. But there is more to it, according to Klara: \u201dAllowing yourself to explore<\/strong> and connect<\/strong> with people from all around the world is the kind of learning I want, and I believe it is truly preparing me for the future I have pictured for myself.\u201d  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The path. Exploring European capitals<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Klara’s study track is London<\/strong>–Turin<\/strong>–Berlin<\/strong>, and she has already experienced two of her three choices. \u201dThe question everyone keeps asking me is whether I preferred my first year in London or the second year I am living in Turin\u201d she tells us. \u201dTo be honest, this question is harder than it sounds because cities are so diverse. I always go by \u201d\u02dcit’s different’<\/em>, which is the truth.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

London<\/strong>, of course, is a city that never sleeps. \u201dThere I felt alive and important, an incredible state of mind. Just by walking around the city, I literally sensed the beauty of studying abroad and living in a big city.\u201d And despite the size of the city and the almost 9 million souls that inhabit it, what really surprised Klara was the fact that she not even once<\/strong> experienced the awkward feeling of not fitting in<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Relocating to Turin has been a significant change, but she found the purest Italian lifestyle and culture<\/strong> there. \u201dIn Turin, I feel mature and sophisticated\u201d she adds. \u201dWine tastings, museum nights, dinner gatherings with delicious food are just some of the activities in my daily life. I am so grateful I got the chance to experience \u201d\u02dcla dolce vita<\/em>‘! \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
