\u00ab\u00a0Embraced by an Alpine horizon, it looks like a hybrid between Paris and New York,\u00a0\u00bb<\/em> wrote journalist Rachel Spence on the pages of the Financial Times a few years ago, sharing the majestically intimate elegance of Turin<\/strong> with readers from all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it is right here, in the Piedmontese capital, often at the centre of the political, cultural, and artistic history of Italy and the world, that one of the six prestigious European campuses<\/strong> of ESCP Business School<\/strong> is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s set off together to discover Turin and the numerous opportunities it offers to the more than 100,000 students<\/strong> it hosts every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A sober elegance oriented towards the future<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The charm of Turin perhaps lies precisely in its being simultaneously so markedly and yet so little Italian<\/strong>. The elegant arcades, the austere Royal Palace, and the exquisite architectural expressions – ranging from Baroque to Liberty – take us in Central Europe, a world away from the stereotyped image we may have of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, Turin is very much ‘Italy’<\/strong>. In fact, the city has boldly shaped, throughout history, the identity of the country, especially with its inventiveness and industry. Starting from the FIAT<\/strong> automobile industry, the engine of the country’s industrial modernization, to some of the most well-known global brands, such as Ferrero<\/strong> and Lavazza<\/strong>, Turin has always been one of the most important seedbeds of innovation and top-level entrepreneurship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already known for its artistic and architectural treasures, the invaluable collection of the Egyptian Museum<\/strong>, and the suggestive Cinema Museum<\/strong> housed in the Mole Antonelliana, the city’s symbol, Turin has also been able to reinvent itself over the years. Nowadays, it is considered one of the most important European capitals of contemporary art<\/strong> and an attractive location for world-renowned events such as the Winter Olympics<\/strong> (2006) and the Eurovision Song Contest<\/strong> (2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turin is also among the five prestigious locations offered by ESCP to the\u00a0Bachelor in Management (BSc)<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0students, who live and study in 3 different European capitals during the programme. According to\u00a0Isabel Calandrini<\/a>, a third-year student of the BSc, Turin is an\u00a0authentic ‘jewel’<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00ab\u00a0In the beginning, coming from a big city like Paris or Milan made me wonder if I made the right choice for my second-year city. Now, I can say without any doubt that I completely adored Turin. It has become one of my favourite cities in the world! \u00ab\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Campus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new ESCP Turin Campus<\/strong>, inaugurated in 2024, unveils 800 square meters<\/strong> of cutting-edge facilities designed to serve a vibrant community of over 1,000 students from 60+ countries<\/strong>. Situated in the city centre<\/strong>, the campus merges historic architecture<\/strong> with modern, forward-looking structures<\/strong>, creating a dynamic dialogue between the past and future<\/strong>, Turin and ESCP<\/em>. At its heart, the Agora<\/strong>\u201da striking glass-covered plaza<\/strong>\u201doffers an open, inviting space where students, faculty, and the community converge<\/strong>, exemplifying ESCP’s commitment to making education a public good,<\/strong> closely connected to the city beyond its walls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you move through the campus, pathways lead to amphitheatre-style classrooms<\/strong>, flexible learning areas<\/strong>, and serene study zones<\/strong>, each designed to foster collaboration<\/strong>, stimulate discussion<\/strong>, and encourage focused learning<\/strong>. The Learning Centre<\/strong> extends this ethos, providing soundproof booths<\/strong>, collaborative tables<\/strong>, and a library<\/strong> that supports both academic study<\/em> and personal growth<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Magali Maurice<\/strong>, another Bachelor’s alumna<\/strong>, Turin’s intimate atmosphere created a lasting impression. \u201dI loved the warmth of our relationships with campus staff\u201dit felt like family, and saying goodbye was difficult\u201d<\/em> she recalls. \u201dTurin offers a calm contrast to big-city pressure, while constantly surprising you with new experiences and hidden gems unique to the city.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
